The site can be accessed from either the B9030 or the Stuartfield to Maud road. It is understood that there are financial obligations associated with the use and maintenance of the road and prospective purchasers are advised to check access provision as well as site plans and boundaries. The site adjoins a stone track approximately 550 metres from a minor public road between Stuartfield and Maud. It is otherwise adjoined on two sides by the grounds of a residential property and on its south-west side by agricultural land. It is located 0.75 miles from the rural village of Stuartfield, with the nearest major centres of population being Mintlaw (pop. 4,000) - 4 miles to the north-east and the coastal town of Peterhead (pop. 20,000) - 11 miles to the east. DIRECTIONS: From the centre of Stuartfield, follow Windhill Street out of the village westwards for 0.5 miles. A stone track to the left is taken and the site adjoins the left hand side of this track after approximately 550m metres.
